"I'm dreaming of a white Thanksgiving,
just like the ones I've never known,
where the turkeys have to wear jackets,
and the pumpkin muffins are froze."
The snow finally stopped falling by 6 am. The final count: 14 inches.
A family tradition.
My Thanksgiving Feast!
Steak tacos, with woodstove-heated shells, apple cider, and chocolate coconut custard for dessert!
I hope everyone is having a Happy Thanksgiving and enjoying the time spent together. I am thankful for all my friends and my family. I love you and miss you all.

JARED...oops, sorry...Jeremiah!! I see you have become somewhat of a Yukon Cornelius...LOVE IT!! Chad is taking piano again and has been filling me in on your life now. He told me today that Thanksgiving sucked because you weren't here. I told my husband what you were doing and he's ready to pack up and go!! We think its really cool! Anyway, just wanted to say hi. May God bless your endeavor...and don't forget your friends back home!!! Love ya!!! <3
ReplyDeleteJer- so much snow!! I'm "jeal-u-lous". Speaking of Yukon Cornelius, "Rudolph" is on TV tonight so I will watch it while Uncle C is gone. That's MY tradition- have to watch it on TV even tho I have the DVD. We love your entries- you are so entertaining. Keep sending us pix and news. We all miss you :(
